Logistics · Delivery slots

Offer the slots your fleet can keep

When every slot is on offer, routes zigzag across town and promises get broken. We show customers the slots your fleet can realistically make, and nudge them toward slots on routes that are already planned: kept promises for them, fuller routes and fewer kilometres for you.

The problem

Every slot on offer, whether the trucks can make it or not

Most slot pickers show the same open calendar to every customer. Orders land wherever customers click, and the planner has to fit them into routes afterwards. Some windows cannot be met, some customers are not home, and the same address gets visited twice.

You pay in zigzag routes, late arrivals, failed deliveries that go back on the truck, second trips for the same order, and customers who stop trusting the window you gave them.

Routes that zigzag

Slots chosen without regard to the routes scatter deliveries across the area and the day.

Promises that cannot be kept

A window offered without checking capacity turns into a late delivery or a call to reschedule.

Second trips for the same order

When nobody is home, the parcel rides back to the depot and goes out again another day.

How we solve it

Slots checked against the fleet before they are offered

For every order, we check which slots fit into the routes and capacity you have, offer those, and rank them so the cheapest and greenest choices are the easiest to pick. The planner sets the rules.

What goes in

  • The order and its address, size and requested day
  • Routes already planned for the coming days
  • Vehicle capacity, shifts and driving hours
  • The demand forecast for the days ahead

Constraints handled

  • Only slots the fleet can realistically reach
  • Capacity kept free for expected orders
  • Customer and service-level rules you set
  • Time windows, driving-time rules and depot hours

What the planner sees

  • Which slots are offered per area and day, and why
  • Preferred slots: on routes that are already planned
  • Capacity still free per day and region
  • Rules to adjust: how far ahead, how wide, which incentives
Results

Measured on your orders, not promised up front

We do not quote figures before we have seen your orders and routes. In a shadow run, we replay past order intake with our slot offer next to the slots you actually offered, and compare the routes and outcomes that follow.

These are the measures a shadow run compares. Outcomes depend on your network, customers and data, and are not guaranteed.
